The firm was established by Ovais Ali Shah, an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Before founding the firm, Ovais worked with some of Pakistan’s leading commercial law firms, gaining extensive experience in litigation, arbitration, and complex commercial disputes.

Drawing on this background, Ovais Shah & Partners was created with the aim of offering clients the same high standards of advocacy and legal analysis found in leading international practices, while remaining closely attuned to the realities of the Pakistani legal system.
